Situated at the heart of the Sharm El Sheikh district, is the ever popular Naama Bay region. Until the recent opening of the Soho square development slightly further North, Naama Bay was the hub of all evening and entertainment based activity in Sharm El Sheikh. Today, Naama Bay is still as popular as ever, and every evening large crowds descend upon the huge array of popular bars, restaurants and cafes which line the streets.
During the daytime, Naama Bay is a bustling commercial centre, home to a number of tourist orientated shops and shopping malls. An excellent place to while away a few hours, some excellent bargains can be had buying from the local traders and shopowners of Naama Bay. During the evening however, the Naama Bay region really comes to life. Street front restaurants and cafes offer a wide range of local and international cuisines, designed to cater for every taste and budget. From superb local seafood, caught that very day, through to more familiar names such as McDonald's and Burger King, there is something for everyone in Naama Bay.
The majority of the sea front in the area is home to a number of major international hotels, and as such property in Naama Bay tends to be set back from the main frontline. However, despite this there is a huge demand for property in Naama Bay, predominantly due to the exceptional demand for short-term rental accommodation in the region. Due to this large demand, property in Naama Bay tends to be slightly more expensive than elsewhere in Sharm El Sheikh. However the accessibility to the main entertainment areas, coupled with the high demand, means it is likely to become an excellent long term investment.
