Nestled in the hills just outside of Olu Deniz is the popular resort town of Hisaronu, were a  combination of ancient history, stunning lagoons and hillside forests have made the town a popular base for people visiting the region. The town’s location, being situated 1,500 metres above sea level ensures that the town offers visitors a welcoming climate, a few degrees cooler than the nearby resorts of Olu Deniz and Fethiye.

 

A lively and colourful town, Hisaronu offers visitors a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants, designed to cater for every taste and budget. This wide range of facilities, coupled with the resorts slightly cooler temperature means that the town has become increasingly popular in the evenings, as people look to escape from the heat of the nearby coastal resorts.
