Egypt real estate market looks strong going into 2010.

Egypt and the popular resorts throughout the Red Sea, look set to become one of the world's leading destinations for real estate investors in 2010 delegates were told at the first Global Trade Matters Real Estate Egypt Conference.

Panellists at the conference, who included speakers from the top ranks in government, the private real estate sector and academia, went on to state that Egypt's more conservative mortgage market had shielded the country from the worst of the global recession. As such, it is thought that the Egyptian property market is now well placed to take advantage from the recent increases in interest in property throughout the region.
