Rental Costs In London On The Increase According To New Report

 

A new report out from London based estate agents LSL shows that rental costs in London have risen faster than any other part of the UK over the past twelve months, with average monthly rents now in excess of £1,000.00.

Despite the more challenging economic climate, London is still managing to weather the economic storm better than the rest of the country, as the capitals property market continues to attract investment from overseas and the rest of the UK.

The report went on to show that the rises in London in rental fees (7.1%) were also reflected throughout many other regions of the country, with increases of 5.5% in the North East of the country, and 4.8% in the Midlands.
