Meraas Development Announces Plans For New $95bn City In Dubai.
The Cityscape Exhibition has seen a number of major announcements this week, including yesterdays announcement by Nakheel to build the worlds tallest tower at the Nakheel Harbour and Tower development.
Yersterday also saw an announcement from Meraas Developments, the Dubai government owned property developers, who announced plans to build a $95bn new city development in the emirate. The mixed use Jumeirah Gardens development is designed to be a 'city within a city' and will be located between Diyafa Street and Safa Park.
The Jumeirah Gardens project will be developed over a period of 12 years, and will include a number of high rise buildings, including the 1 Dubai building, which is set to become one of the worlds tallest buildings.
