Report Suggests Increasing Standards In New Build Properties In Spain.

 

There was some positive news for the Spanish property market this week, as a new report showed that decreasing numbers of off-plan properties in Spain have defects.

 

The survey, Snagging and Buying Trends 2007/2008 was carried out across a total of 700 new properties across 51 property developers in Spain. The top two defects indentified were ceiling and wall problems, closely followed by tiling defects. The report went on to state that it took developers an average of 51 days to fix 90% of all problems identified across an average of 4 visits to the property.

 

The report, now in its third year, now only shows an increase in the quality of new build property in Spain, but also an increasing assertiveness amoungst buyers with regards to faults in their new property.
