The Atrium In Dubai Waterfront - The Latest Launch From Emirates Sunland

Emirates Sunland, the Dubai based property developers have launched their latest project at the Dubai Waterfront district. The Atrium will be a Dh6 billion residential building, which will be located close to the Madinat Al Arab, which will situated next to a large park, and major shopping centre. The residents of the 68 storey Atrium building will have stunning views over the Palm Jebel Ali development, the man made island which is home to the Atlantis Hotel and Trump International Hotel and Tower.

The Atrium building focuses on two separate sleek glass towers which rise majestically before merging at the higher levels of the building. The Atrium, which when finished will rise to a height of 278 metres will be one of the tallest properties on the Dubai Waterfront. The surrounding area will include a major shopping centre, and a large park area which will give the area a more ‘serene’ feel.

“It symbolises the human body,” said Soheil Abedian, the founder and managing director of Sunland, a predominantly Australian developer that is making inroads in the GCC. “It has two legs gradually going up to the crown of the building. It is really sculpted on every level.”

The Atrium is a residential development, and will house approximately 1,000 apartments with prices starting at around Dh 3,000 per square feet. There will be a range of leisure facilities available to the residents of the Atrium, including communal swimming pools, a fully equipped gymnasium, spa and a library. The Atrium was designed by US architects Pickard Chilton, the architects responsible for the iconic Petronas Towers development in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

This is Emirates Sunlands fourth project in the Emirates, following on from the Palazzo Versace and D1 Tower developments in Dubai Culture Village, and the White Bay development in Umm Al Quwain.
